English Vocabulary for Final Exam:

Hello everyone! Hope you're having a lovely weekend :) just to let you know, I have removed the 'Shakespeare Vocabulary' from the final exam - so you can just focus on these. I will be uploading grammar practice sheets today as well, so stay posted! If you need help with anything, please don't hesitate to send me an email at any time.

  1. Civil Rights: the rights belonging to all citizens, such as freedom from discrimination
  2. Activists: people who actively work for social change
  3. Petition: a document that requests a certain right or benefit
  4. Segregation: the policy of keeping races separate 
  5. Reproach: blame or disapproval
  6. Boycott: a protest that involves a refusal to buy from a certain business or person
  7. Plaintiff: a person who files a lawsuit
  8. Complied: followed rules or orders
  9. Manhandled: treated in a rough manner
