Exam Topics: Revision

Good morning all!

Hope you've been having a lovely weekend :) This is just to inform you of the topics you need to study for your semester final!

- The English exam will take place on Thursday the 14th of December
- The Social Studies exam will take place on Sunday the 17th of December

English:
  1. Grammar: Sentence Kinds and Parts
  2. Myths, Fairytales, Fables, and Legends
  3. Grammar: Subjects and Predicates
  4. Vocabulary: Context clues
  5. Grammar: Suffixes
  6. Grammar: Possessives and Contractions
  7. Grammar: Sequence Words
  8. Grammar: Punctuation and Capitalization
  9. Grammar: Conjunctions and Compound Sentences
  10. Grammar: Prefixes
  11. Grammar: Fragments and Run-Ons
These are all the topics we have covered - these are the ones you will need to study thoroughly!

You also need to study all the vocabulary words and their synonyms, practice doing comprehension exercises and you MUST practice paraphrasing and summarizing as well.

As for Social Studies, you will need to study the whole Chapter on India.

    Ms why didnt you give us are h.w back. You only gave us 2 h.w(vocab sentence)
    So please get it with you on sunday because i need to study from them alot of things.

    Make sure you tell me tomorrow what you need help with so we can focus on it this week! Don't worry about the literature - you only need to study the vocabulary and know the synonyms.
