English Homework due Sunday October 29th

Hello All!

Hope you're having a lovely start to the weekend :)

As explained in class - your homework is to write a movie review with an opinion piece on WALL-E, the movie we watched in class.

Go back to your notes! this is why you took them :)

The review should include the following (doesn't have to be in this order - except the introduction and conclusion), and should NOT be more than 5 pages:

1. An introduction: which movie you watched and why you watched it.
2. Opinion: what you think of the movie and why.
3. What was good about the movie? what was bad about the movie?
4. Summary: a short summary (not too detailed) of what happened in the movie should be included.
5. Themes: what was the theme of the movie?
6. Lesson: what did we learn from the movie? and do you think this was a good way to teach it?
7. Conclusion: end the essay with a nice short paragraph, would you advise others to watch it? why?

I have added a sample of a movie review to give you ideas. I have also added vocabulary words that will help you write this! Please check the vocabulary tab :)

 

For those who had not finished their comprehension questions on Thursday, please make sure you finish those and bring them in on Sunday as well!
